2009 Dodge Grand Caravan
For 2009, Caravan integrated a six cylinder 3.8ltr engine with automatic 6-speed transmission that worked on regular gasoline. The fuel tank had a capacity of 20 gallons. It provided a combined fuel efficiency of 18 mpg, 16 mpg in city and 23 mpg on highways. The annual fuel cost is around $2977.

2010 Dodge Grand Caravan
With a 4ltr six cylinder engine, the 2010 model has a combined fuel efficiency of 20 mpg. EPA rating is 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on highways. The fuel tank capacity is 20.5 gallons and 369 miles. The annual fuel cost is around $2678. This version comes with a front wheel drive.
2011 Dodge Grand Caravan
The present version integrates a six cylinder engine with a displacement of 3.6 ltr and is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission. The fuel used is E85 or regular gas. EPA economy is 12 mpg in city, 18 mpg on highways, and 14 mpg combined. Capacity of the tank is 20 gallons for 252 miles. Fuel cost/annum is $2678 for gas and $2945 for E85.
The next generation Dodge Grand Caravan gas mileage is expected to be better in comparison to all these series.
