The 2006 Grand Caravan SXT model came with minor modifications when compared with its previous model. As its predecessor model, the 2006 SXT is also offered in three trim versions- the cargo, SE and SXT models.

Engine
The SE and cargo versions are powered by a standard 3.3 liter V6 engine that produces 180 hp, whereas the SXT model is powered by a 3.8 liter V6 engine tat produces power up to 205 hp and torque of 240 lb ft. Both the engines offered by the vehicle are mated to a standard 4-speed automatic transmission. The new feature added in the 2006 Grand Caravan SXT that attracts the customers towards the model is it’s stow n’ go seating system, while the second and third row seats can be stowed away to achieve more cargo space.
The other new features in the 2006 SXT version include infinity acoustic 8 speaker system, park sense rear backup system and Uconnect hands free communication system.
Convenience Features
The minivan is featured with the convenience features like cargo nets, air conditioning, tachometer, tri-zone manual, 160 Amp alternator, steering wheel, trip computer, garage door opener, power windows and locks, headlamp control, illuminated keyless remote control system, and cup holders.
